1 Peter 4:9-11

Show hospitality to one another without grumbling. As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ.To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

My wife and I—along with our growing household—seek to glorify our Lord Jesus Christ through being faithful stewards of all he has entrusted to us. That includes making great coffee to serve and enjoy with you. The Lord commands us to “show hospitality to one another without grumbling” (1 Peter 4:9), and serving coffee provides us an opportunity to do just that.

My first job was in coffee back in 2015 in Muskogee, OK at a mom-and-pop cafe, Jim and Em’s Coffee Shop. Here, I first learned how to serve and show hospitality over something as simple as a cup of coffee. Over the years, coffee and serving others became a passion of mine as I continued to learn how to combine those two things: making great tasting coffee, and serving others with sincerity and joy. Ever since Jim and Em’s closed, it has been my desire to bring small-batch quality coffee roasting back to my hometown, and to see more godly businesses raised up here, near, and far.
